Ana Ivanovic announced it temporarily withdrew from tennis to regain strength. The former WTA number one has taken this decision after being eliminated in the first round of U.S. Open by Ukraines Katerina Bondarenko, number 52 in the world ranking.

I will separate myself from the world of tennis for a while and then return to winning ways. I disappointed because I made blunders throughout the game. I also missed my right, my best weapon. Everything has to do with my loss of confidence, he said.
